About Ericella

Art and design is a passion, and that passion runs across the whole huge spectrum of styles. Narrowing that passion down into only a few styles is nearly an impossibility - which is why we have called the designs of Ericella eclectic! Led by the love of all things to do with the past, the main theme of the designs is vintage, whether that be images, places, people or typography.

I grew up with a love of art and design from day one, with a father who was a Graphic Designer I think this was just part of my make up. I will never forget visiting my dad's design studio back in the 1980s and seeing the huge drawing boards and the racks of pens and art supplies. That is what design was, and I wish it remained that way today. We cannot escape the modern world with AI taking over, and it truly makes me sad that we do not do things the traditional way we used to, but immersing myself in images of the past sometimes makes that easier to live with.

I wish we did not need to depend on social media nowadays in order for a business to succeed - there are so many of us out there in the wide world who don't want to spend our time on it, yet is there a way around it now? Whenever I have been on Instagram, I am encouraged to read so many posts by small businesses who feel the same and are struggling to find ways to succeed in this modern world the traditional way. Let's hope we can all start to make this happen together...
